Ku-Ring-Gai Bowmen Archery Session Booking System

As mandated by NSW Public Health Orders, Ku-Ring-Gai Bowmen has developed a CovidSafe policy and session booking system, which requires each participating archer to reserve a place in a session on the following Sunday.

To participate in our Sunday shoots, you must agree to comply with our general conditions for gathering.

Why we are doing this

The existence of the virus has imposed many conditions on archery at Edenborough Park. The harshest of these requires participants to maintain a physical distance between them of 1.5 metres. The biggest impact of this is the reduction of numbers we can accommodate.

To achieve this we have developed a system for each archer to reserve a place on the shooting line, which is to be done each week for the next Sunday's shooting.

The Booking Request System

Please read and understand the general conditions for gathering. If you have any questions please ask: either This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Bookings are essential for Sunday archery. Use the online form in the week before the next Sunday. Bookings will not carry over, and must be renewed each week.

We offer both morning and afternoon sessions. Check the calendar for special events, which will be notified separately.

For allocating bookings to archers, priority will be given to members, tournament competitors (such as in our monthly Handicap round), early registrants, and novices following on from beginners courses. Visitors may be accommodated only if there is sufficient capacity.

The system will be updated from time to time. Flexibility is important, but please be prepared to accept changes at short notice.

Ku-Ring-Gai CovidSafe Policy

To meet the expectations of our State and National sport governing bodies and Ku-Ring-Gai Council all our archery operations will be conducted according to our Covid-19 Safety Plan.

In summary:

• Physical distancing between participants means that we will be restricting archers to two people on each target

• Handling other archers' equipment should be avoided

• The ServiceNSW QR code has been adopted, so sign in should be done this way

• Compliance with the club's reservation policy is a condition of participation
